God made us all.
God is good not evil.
God made things and people.
God was lonely and he made Adam.
Adam was lonely and God felt bad so he made Eve.
Eve was lonely and Adam felt bad so they made kids.
Americans stopped talking to each other and Trump took advantage.
God made Trump, Biden, and everyone in between.
God made King Cyrus who told the Israelites they could leave Babylon.
God made Biden who told the white evangelicals they could share the nation.
God made Trump who told the white evangelicals they could own the nation.
God made Jesus who told the world that the most important commandment was to love the Lord your God with all your heart and soul and your neighbor as yourself.
God made tyrannies and democracies and middle in-betweens.
But in democracies the people work together to keep the government from oppressing the people.
So that’s cool.
God made Trump, who tried to steal the 2020 election with lies and subterfuge.
God made Biden, who won the 2020 election in the old fashioned way: by getting the most votes and, this being the USA, winning the electoral college.
God made Trump and you and me.
God made Hitler and Mussolini. God made everything and everyone.
Who hurt the world? Who hurt the soul of things?
Was it God? Since God made everything
Or was it Trump, since he uses “true” and “false” as meaningless weapons and calls cruelty “strength”?
Who hurt the soul of things?
